It’s not only handbags and shoes that are counterfeited. From cosmetics to car parts to food, almost every product you can think of has been counterfeited. Counterfeit products are not just poorly made, they can be dangerous.
Fake goods have negative economic, health and safety effects on us, our family, our friends and our community. Counterfeiting is also often tied to child labor and organized crime. We have a tremendous opportunity to make a difference on this issue. Say “no” to what’s unreal…
The Unreal Campaign is a consumer awareness program of the International Trademark Association (INTA), which aims to educate young consumers (14- to 23-years-old) about the dangers of counterfeiting and the importance of trademarks. The Unreal Campaign is a multiyear initiative that will outreach to teens through online activities and direct school engagement.
